About

The MechTech Software Club is a dedicated student-centric platform aimed at enhancing the digital and technical capabilities of Mechanical Engineering students. The club focuses on developing  roficiency in key engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS, MATLAB, and various design and simulation tools essential for modern engineering practice.

Through a structured blend of workshops, expert lectures, hands-on training, and project- based  earning, the club enables students to apply theoretical concepts to real-world engineering problems. It encourages innovation, creative thinking, and collaborative learning by engaging students in digital prototyping, simulation-based problem solving, and industry- oriented activities.

The club also promotes professional development by supporting students in obtaining relevant  oftware certifications and exposure to emerging technologies in design, manufacturing, and computational engineering. By bridging academia with industry needs, the MechTech Software Club prepares students to excel in careers focused on design, R&D, automation, and advanced engineering solutions.

Vision

To cultivate a community of innovative mechanical engineers empowered with advanced software skills, enabling them to design, analyze, and develop cutting-edge engineering solutions for industry and society.

Mission

❑ To provide hands-on learning opportunities in CAD, CAM, AE, simulation, and emerging  echanical engineering software tools.

❑ To enhance students’ technical competence through workshops, projects, certifications, and collaborative activities.

❑ To bridge the gap between  academia and industry by  fostering software-driven innovation, problem-solving, and research.

❑ To encourage students to develop digital engineering capabilities aligned with modern
industrial practices and technologies.

Objective

❖ To train students in industry-relevant software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS, MATLAB, and other mechanical engineering tools.

❖ To organize workshops, expert lectures, hackathons, and competitions focused on digital design, simulation, and modelling.

❖ To promote project-based learning and encourage students to develop software- assisted engineering solutions.

❖ To collaborate with industries, software vendors, and research organizations for skill enhancement and exposure.

❖ To support students in achieving globally recognized software certifications.

❖ To foster teamwork, innovation, and technical leadership among mechanical engineering students.
