Eligibility Criteria

UG Courses

Academic Requirement for UG (B.Tech)

10+2 passed with min. 45% marks in PCM for GENERAL Category ; min. 40% marks in PCM for SC/ST/OBC Category & the student having appeared in IIT-JEE MAIN- 2022.

Procedure for Admission in UG (B.Tech)

  1. Candidates appeared in IIT-JEE (MAIN) 2022 shall only be eligible for admission.

  2. Students placed in the merit are called for ONLINE OFF CAMPUS counseling as per a specific schedule prepared as per marks obtained in IIT-JEE MAIN- 2022.

  3. Seats alloted as per DTE (M.P. GOVT.) norms through online off campus counselling - 2022.

PG Courses

Academic Requirement for PG (M.Tech)

Engineering graduate in relevant branch, preferable gate qualified.

Procedure for Admission in PG (M.Tech)

Seats alloted as per DTE (M.P. GOVT.) norms through online off campus counselling - 2022.

Lateral Entry

  • Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution , with atleast 45% marks (40% incase of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology.

  • Passed B.Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC,with with atleast 45% marks (40% incase of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 12th with Mathematics as a subject.

  • Provided that in case of student belonging to B.Sc Stream , shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering program along with the second year subject

  • Provided further that, the students belonging to B.Sc stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats within category with students belonging to Diploma stream.

  • Provided further that , the students who have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology from an AICTE approved institution or B.Sc degree from a recognized university as defined by UGC, shall also be eligible for admission to the first year engineering courses subject to vacancies in the first year class in case the vacancies at lateral entries are exhausted . However the admission shall be based strictly on the eligibility criteria mentioned in A,B,D and E above.

UG Courses/PG Courses

  Seats, if vacant, after on line off campus counselling, shall be filled through on line on campus admission procedure. Candidates not appeared in IIT-JEE 2022, and from other states are eligible for admission. The dates for "College Level Counselling" shall be declared by DTE (M.P.). After first round of counselling students should contact counselling incharge for any assistance/queries.
