Director SRCEM Message
From time immortal, Man is trying to achieve the 'nirvana', the ultimate truth. Education has been a way to achieve the truth through the path enlighted by the rightful deeds. However, with the passage of time, the meaning and interpretation of Education has been changing and today it is being considered just as a means of getting a high-profile job leading to comfortable life away from the ground realities and isolated from the society. This is causing fissure in the personal relationship, deformation in the thinking and loss of moral values of the youngsters. Engineers being blessed and trained specially to serve the society, are required to be a role model to be emulated by the others.
With the changing scenario owing to opening of new technical colleges, spurt in the technology, draught of qualified and experienced teaching faculty, and the westernization of the culture, the technical students are facing lots of problem. To them ahead is a dark future due to cut-throat competition, stringent selection criteria demanding not only the hard skill but brilliant soft skills as well. The Curriculum does not match the industry requirement as it provides only the technical knowledge leaving soft skills to the students themselves.
SRCEM takes pride in imparting technical knowledge by highly qualified and trained staff taking special interest in ensuring uniform growth of all the students. Special attention is being provided to develop the soft skills. But Institute can only guide and show the right path and direction, however practising and preaching is still dependent on individual concerned.
I wish all the success to the students passing out and pray Almighty for their bright future. I earnestly believe that the students still studying shall put all out efforts in acquiring the technical expertise apart from the soft skill. They shall also be setting a high moral standard fulfilling the mission of the Institute of developing highly expert technical manpower with human touch.
